John is a native of Columbia, SC and grew up in the Pontiac community.  He graduated from Clemson University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management. John has 25+ years of financial services experience, is securities and insurance licensed, and is the branch manager for the firm.

John is an active member of Village Church and has enjoyed leadership roles in the children and young adult ministries.  He also volunteered several years with the local Sparkleberry Country Fair, which provided scholarships to area high school students.  John has volunteered his time with various organizations over the years, including high school football and soccer programs.

John enjoys music, old movies, exercising and spending time with family.

John says he loves the complexities that are inherent to being a wealth manager, and the challenges that come with helping families navigate the ups and downs of life.
