Julie is a native of Spartanburg, SC and grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  She graduated from Wofford College in 1996 in the Pre-Med track with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Julie earned her International Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, Moore School of Business in 2001.  With over 20 years of industry experience, Julie holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and is securities and insurance licensed.

Julie is an active member of her church where she has been involved in the women’s and children’s ministries over the years.  She also serves on the board of No Longer Abandoned, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing group home settings to orphans in the Philippines as well as being a founding member of 4 A Life Foundation, a charitable organization focused on supporting international medical missions and other non-profits.

Julie enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with friends, family and her two dogs Bo and Ruby.

Julie says her objectives as a wealth manager are to advise, educate and equip her clients for success and overall financial wellbeing. She believes everyone’s situation is unique and sees problem-solving as more of an art than a science.
