Emily is a Columbia, SC native with finance in her blood. She is the daughter of a financial advisor and started her career in the financial services industry at Morgan Stanley in 2015. She is both securities and insurance licensed. Emily graduated from Clemson University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and a minor in Business.  She also earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Clemson University in 2010.

Emily wears many hats, including leading women’s Bible study and volunteering with the children’s ministry at Village Church of Blythewood, SC. In the past, she served on the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association Heart Ball, and as a volunteer with the Junior League of Columbia. Emily was also a tutor and mentor for 8 years with Prosperity Project, a local after school program for inner city kids.

She is married and has two young boys who keep her very busy. In her free time, Emily enjoys exercising and cheering on the Clemson Tigers. 

Emily’s favorite thing about being a wealth manager is the relationship building aspect that is key to helping clients plan for their future financial goals. She also enjoys helping families create legacies for the people and causes they care about the most.
